SICILY. Entella (?). Punic issues, circa 345/38-320/15 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 17.36 g, 7 h). Head of Tanit-Persephone to right, wearing wreath of grain leaves, triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; around, four dolphins. Rev. Horse prancing right in front of palm tree with two date clusters. Jenkins, Punic, 132 (O44/R119). SNG Copenhagen 82 (same dies). SNG Lockett 1038 (same dies). A beautiful coin with an unusually dynamic reverse. Very light die wear on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
